Join our guest speaker and recent Outreach Provider award winner, Dr Andrew Horwood, in a Q&A session on Thursday 4 November 2021 at 5 pm to learn how to be an Outreach Service provider with Rural Workforce Agency Victoria.
Dr Horwood has been undertaking outreach visits to the Wimmera region one week a month for the last three years. He now works providing medical pain management consults as part of the recently launched Wimmera Southern-Mallee Integrated Pain Service, which includes a public multi-disciplinary team of Physio, OT and Psychologist along with a Co-ordinator. The Service’s motto is “Living Well With Pain” and it offers patient education and advice on daily functioning with persistent pain, aiming to help people reduce their previous reliance on opiate medication.
