On Friday 23rd June a multidisciplinary group will have the opportunity to join RWAV’s “Rural Experience Day Out” in Gippsland. Students in full -time study in medicine, nursing and allied health at a University in Victoria are invited to attend. Meeting at 7.15am outside 18-38 Siddeley Street, Melbourne, a bus will take the group to the Latrobe Valley where small groups will visit a practitioner in their discipline in the morning. The afternoon will be group activities including an Aboriginal Cultural Experience at Ramahyuck District Aboriginal Corporation in Morwell. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in undertaking a Rural Clinical Placement and is targeted at pre-clinical students. The trip is funded and travel, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.
