Are you a health professional working as a GP locum in private health in rural and remote locations (MMM 3-7)? You can now apply for this grant to pursue further education, upskilling, or attend training courses.
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program (HWSP) is an initiative of the Australian Government Department of Health administered in Victoria by Rural Workforce Agency Victoria.
The objective of the HWSP is to improve access to the services needed in rural and remote areas (defined as locations categorised as Modified Monash Model (MMM 3 –7) by supporting an increase in skills, capacity and/or scope of practice of privately employed health professionals in the fields of medicine, nursing, and allied health.
