Webinar: Otitis Media Guidelines App

A case-based approach to the latest guidelines presented by Prof Stephen O’Leary.

The 2020 Otitis Media App was designed in conjunction with Menzies School of Health Research. It is an information and multimedia tool to assist primary health care providers in the delivery of comprehensive, effective and appropriate care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with otitis media. This session, delivered by one of the app content creators, Professor O’Leary, will cover the main app features including:

• Evidence based guidelines prepared using the GRADE approach
• Algorithms to assist with clinical decision making
• Audio recordings in aboriginal languages to assist with communication
• Multimedia educational materials for health workers, families and children

There will be opportunities for discussion and questions.
